Chancel Choir Update 12/27: News
Reminder - No rehearsal this week. No choir in the loft on Sunday, New Years Day.

Chancel Choir Update 12/20: Sunday Concert Notes
Here are some notes from Sunday night's Christmas concert:
-- Attendance was 1,350 making Sunday's Rutter Gloria concert one of the best attended Christmas concerts at our church.
-- A total of 149 Chancel Choir singers participated in the concert, setting a new record.
-- That Mazda Protégé that rolled out of control during the concert belonged to violinist Adrian Walker, concert master for our orchestra. After Carl announced at the beginning of the concert that a parked car had rolled into a utility pole, Walker looked up at Kevin and whispered, "Kevin, that's my car." Walker played the entire concert knowing his car was damaged. Kevin said all during the next song "Good Christian Men Rejoice" he was trying to determine what to do. While the Rutter video was shown, he sat next to Carl on the front pew and told him who owned the damaged car. By then, the police had checked the license plates and compared the name to the program. Walker finally checked on the whereabouts of his care after the concert. The car was parked on the west side of Creve Coeur Avenue when its brakes failed and it rolled down the hill striking a utility pole next to Commerce Bank. The pole stopped the car from rolling out onto Manchester Road, where police said a serious accident would have occurred. The car reportedly is a total loss.

With no rehearsal this Thursday, opportunities to reserve tickets to the Chancel Choir holiday party on Jan. 7 will be limited. The absolute deadline for reservations is Dec. 30. Chancel Choir Update 12/6: Correction
We used some incorrect information in the note included in today's earlier email update about this weekend's Christmas Pageant at the church . If you wish to attend the Sunday lunch show, you'll need to reserve your seat today since the food will be ordered tomorrow. Also, the number in the original note is for childcare only and unfortunately the deadline to reserve child care has passed. To reserve tickets for the pageant, call the church at 636-394-7506. This is a great show and Chancel Choir people are in it. Lori Borger reports: "(Alto) Bonnie Halls is directing it and we're crossing our fingers that (Alto) Kristie Whitney will be feeling good enough to perform -- she is hilarious." Here is the corrected notice:

"Best Christmas Pageant Ever" Presented by Drama Ministry
Those of you who have children or grandchildren will enjoy this presentation by the MUMC Drama Ministry.. A hilarious and touching story, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" written by Barbara Robinson, gives a fresh look at the birth of Christ as seen through the eyes and hearts of the Herdmans, six poor, mean, small-town kids. Join us in Fellowship Hall for the reader's theater style play. Seating is limited. Call the Church Office at 636-394-7506 to reserve tickets. Show schedule: Saturday, Dec. 10, noon, $5 lunch/show, $3 show only; Sunday, Dec. 11, noon, $7.50 lunch/show; $3 show only; and Sunday, Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m., $3 show only. The deadline for Sunday lunch tickets is today, Tuesday, Dec. 6. Attendees are invited to bring canned goods for donation to local food pantries.

With less than two weeks to go before our big Rutter Gloria concert, the next rehearsals are critical to presenting a quality performance. This Thursday night will be the last rehearsal exclusively for the choir. It's a time to perfect our performance and it's important that you be there. Television meteorologists are predicting a small amount of snow on Thursday. Kevin said last night that the rehearsal will go on, unless there is a blizzard. So, unless you see penguins marching down Manchester Road, you can count on rehearsal happening. Remember there is a weather bulletin link on the home page of the Chancel Choir Web site at www.chancelchoir.org for announcements about the choir's activities and the weather.

Rutter Gloria On the Internet
Tenor Chris Kennedy has found some interesting sites on the Internet about Rutter's Gloria. Here's his report: "I was fooling around on-line and found a ton of sites with the Rutter Gloria and choirs performing it or having it in their repertoire. There is one site that has an excerpt from Gloria with brass and piano. It was a pretty good clip and one you may want to pass on the choir (or not) to get their interest to a new level."
It is www.exultate.org/gloria.html

Cares and Concerns
This report from Baritone Jim Anderson about his son in-law, Steve Inge, who suffered an apparent heart attack Saturday afternoon: "Steve came home yesterday morning. They did a heart catherization on Monday, and inserted a stint in one artery. One other artery was partially blocked but they didn't feel it needed a stint. Some minor heart damage, and they think Steve may have had a heart attack before, as much as 10 years ago. He is on several heart medications now, but should have a good recovery. Probably a change in eating habits along with exercise like most of us should consider. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They really do work."

Here's a report from Soprano Christina Vogel about Soprano Mary Ann Sumpter who is recovering from recent surgery: "I just spoke with Mary Ann Sumpter. She is still at home recovering from her surgery. She is doing better but it is a very slow process. She says to tell the choir thank you for the beautiful miniature rose bush and thank you for our continued prayers for her recovery. She very much wants to be well in time for our concert."

Cares and Concerns
Alto Kristie Whitney
asks that we continue to keep her in our thoughts and prayers. Kristie met with her oncologist on Monday (11/28) and learned that the recent tumor was larger and more aggressive than her first tumor found in 2003. On Thursday (12/1) she will undergo surgery to install a port and then begin chemotherapy the same day. Different chemo drugs will be used this time that her doctor says are less toxic. Kristie is also scheduled today for a PET scan of her right hip. She sends her love and thanks to everyone in choir and the church for the nearly 50 cards, letters and gifts she has received to date. "I feel very humbled and lucky to have such good friends," she said.

Chancel Choir Update 11/26: Cares and Concerns

Chancel Choir Update 11/23: Death In The Choir Family
It is with sadness that we report the death of Soprano Mary Dean's father, Chaplain Julian P. Moorman, on Monday in Raleigh, N.C., after several years of deteriorating health. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday (11/28), at the Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary's Street, Raleigh, N.C. Donations can be made to the Broadcast Ministry Fund at Edenton Street United Methodist Church, 228 West Edenton St., Raleigh, N.C. 27603. Chaplain Moorman was an ordained Methodist minister (a graduate of Duke Divinity School) and a retired Navy Chaplain after 27 years in the service. He was raised in Bristol, Va., but lived all over the world, retiring in Raleigh where he lived for the past 33 years. His second career was serving as head chaplain at Central Prison in Raleigh for 10 years. He leaves three daughters and a son, as well as five grandchildren who will miss him dearly. "Our choir has lost a huge North Carolina fan. He loved the MUMC Chancel Choir music and listened to each and every one of our concert CDs," Mary reports.

Chancel Choir Update 11/22: Latest On Kristie Whitney
Alto Kristie Whitney
is feeling much better. She said she was very happy to hear from the doctor this morning (11/22) that her CT scan came out negative, with no sign of cancer anywhere. She has an appointment with the oncologist on Monday to follow up. If all goes as expected, she assumes she will not need to undergo chemotherapy. She asks for prayers that chemo won't be needed and for a complete recovery. Kristie also wants to thank everyone in the Chancel Choir for the beautiful miniature rose bush that was delivered to her this week.

Chancel Choir Update 11/22: Fall Follies Video Recordings and Photo CDs
If you ordered either a DVD video recording of the Fall Follies or a CD containing digital photos, they are now available for pick up in the Music Room. They are sitting on a counter in the back of the room with an envelope in which you can leave your money. Many folks said they would like these before Thanksgiving. Questions about the video DVDs may be directed to Will Brinkhorst and the Photo CD to Lori Borger, both at the church.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Gourmet Dinner Friday Night A Hit With Customers
Friday night was gourmet dining and special music for the purchasers of one of the Chancel Choir’s two dinners offered at the Youth Auction last spring. The dinner was purchased by Scott and Kay Stiles and was served at the home of Soprano Sue and Baritone Jim Belval. Joining the Stiles for dinnerwere Michael and Susan Vasquez, Craig and Jeanette Connell, Samuel and Susan Buttram, and Tom and Robyn Heidger.

The evening began with a Champaign welcome as guests arrived. They were served hot appetizers and offered wine as they visited before dinner. The evening meal was prepared by Baritone Jim Descher and Tenor Tim Zink who also served as chair for the event. The menu consisted of pumpkin soup, European green salad, pecan encrusted salmon, beef tenderloin stuffed with crab, bacon wrapped asparagus and rice pilaf. Dessert was a cranberry cheesecake covered with cream sauce and accompanied by praline crisps filled with orange butter cream.

Bass Tom Lawrence provided piano music throughout dinner to add to the festive mood. During dessert, musical entertainment was provided by Baritone Charles and Alto Carol Shaffer singing a duet accompanied on the piano by Alto Kay Sherrill. Soprano Jenny Mattox sang a vocal solo while accompanying herself on the guitar. The entertainment concluded with Kevin singing show tunes with Sue Belval accompanying on the piano.

The dinner guests lingered leisurely over wine as the evening concluded. The dining area included a formally set table with an autumn centerpiece and decorations. Each of the dinner guests received a souvenir menu signed by each of the Chancel Choir members working the dinner.

Host Kay Stiles was very appreciative of the choir’s culinary talents and said she hoped to purchase a similar dinner next year.

The second of the two dinners was purchased by Soprano Rose and Dean Carlisle. It will be served in the spring. Each year the choir offers a gourmet dinner for sale at the Youth Auction as a donation to support the church's Youth Ministry. In the past few years, the choir has agreed to provide a second dinner if the bidding reaches a minimum level.

Besides master chefs Descher and Zink, others working the dinner included: Waiters Bass Gary Ford, Bass Buddy Rains and Baritone Moe Parisien and kitchen assistants Sopranos Mary Dean, Joy Parisien, Ann Garber and Lori Holcomb. Additional help and supervision was provided by Sue and Jim Belval who offered their home as the dining venue for the evening.

Chancel Choir Update 10/30: Fall Follies News
Fall Follies 2005 Earns Rousing Reviews From Record Audience

The reviews are in and the show was a success. At least that's the consensus if you talk to just about anyone who attended the second MUMC Fall Follies Talent Show Saturday night.

"I just can't believe it," a bewildered audience member muttered as she left the Sanctuary following the show. "Where does all of that talent come from?" That disbelief also is apparent on the face of "stewardess and sometimes nun" Kelly Hall, at right in the photo above.Other comments included words such as: unbelievable, amazing, oh my, wow, touching, outstanding, hot, incredible, fun, and entertaining.

Head usher Jacque Rocchio estimated about 850 people attended the Follies -- slightly more than the audience at the first follies two years ago. The audience was described as energetic, appreciative and responsive by veteran Follies performers. A return appearance by Mr. Screen put the audience in a good frame of mind before the initial downbeat.

One of the biggest surprises of the evening was Chancel Choir Director Kevin McBeth's surprise appearance in the middle of a song by The Staff Sisters, members of the church staff dressed as nuns. Kevin portrayed the Whoopie Goldberg character from the movie Sister Act. And he did it quit well, we might add. His appearance in choir robe and pink shoes brought the house down.

Final financial figures won't be known until expenses are tallied and all ticket money is turned in. But, it's safe to say the Chancel Choir's activities and scholarship fund is in sound shape after Saturday's Follies.

The show proceeded with out a hitch, thanks to the masterful directorial skills of Bill Borger, former veteran show producer for Six Flags amusement parks. During the final weeks of preparation, Borger rehearsed countless hours with individual acts, providing gentle guidance to maximize talent and avoid performance embarrasment -- in other words, he saved us once again. His contribution to the show is even more significant when you consider neither he nor his wife, Lori, who privided the cast with encouragement and cookies, are members of the Chancel Choir.

Just before the final number, Chancel Choir Vice President Chris Kennedy brought Borger on stage and in the character of one of the Mobster Italian Scallions, told Borger he happily would accept a gift from the choir, or else. Borger was presented with gift certificates to two impressive St. Louis restaurants and a big block of tickets to AMC movie theaters.

The St. Louis Blues Brothers band, made up of several non-choir members as well, contributed significantly to the show's success by providing back-up music to several acts and willingly rehearsed several times with Mike and Nina to perfect their rendition of Proud Mary.

Fortunately no one was injured during the production of the show, however we weren't so luck before the dress rehearsal. Chanteuse Emily Givens, who performed her original compositon Fiedler Lane, suffered a badly sprained ankle just hours before dress rehearsal on Friday. She spent most of the show backstage, crutches in hand. A bad case of laryngitis threatened Lindsey Baden's fetching performance of Rhode Island Is Famous For You, but she perservered for perfection.

It would be hard to select a favorite act, and we certainly won't be doing that here. But, numerous individuals were discussing that very thing in the Narthex at church this morning. The fact that church members outside the Music Ministry are talking about our programming and its ability to showcase the church to new members is worth the work by itself. Kevin noted prior to worship this morning that a couple of people already are planning their acts for the next Follies in 2007.

In a note to Chancel Choir officers on Sunday, Follies Director Borger said: "I've heard nothing but raves as well! I couldn't have been more pleased with everyone's performance (both on stage and back stage/upstairs). My expectations were high and they were exceeded! There is so much talent floating around MUMC -- it's truly amazing. Everyone put their best foot forward - and jumped in to get things done whenever asked. The help during strike was awesome and enabled us to return the Sanctuary to its normal form in record time. For all of that I'm deeply appreciative and hope that every single person connected with the effort has heard that from me - or will in the near future! Your support of, and confidence in, me is also appreciated and immensely helpful. Both Lori and I want to thank the choir and cast for their generosity (and the card and comments were wonderful!). We will love taking advantage of the evenings out that you have afforded us! I'm sure you know that I (we) do this without expectation of reward - the experience and the end result are reward enough! However - we love the icing on the cake!"

Fall Follies Talent Show Is Saturday; Rehearsals Enter Last Week
With only days away before the second semiannual Fall Follies talent show is presented, work is relentlessly progressing to put finishing touches on acts, ensembles, and musical offerings. A second show run-through was held Sunday night in the church Sanctuary. Many of the acts were presented in final form.

This year' s show features a Blues Brothers backup band that will perform alone and provide backup music for several of the acts. There are several "specialty" acts involving surprise artists and some interesting variety acts. Show director Bill Borger says this year's talent show will be about 30 minutes shorter than the last one and has comparable quality. Highlight of the evening will be "Mr. Screen" who is being brought back after considerable popular demand following his debut last time..

The Follies features a travel theme this year. Several large travel agency style posters from vintage years are used to decorate the set. The Follies will be presented at 7:30 p.m., this Saturday, Oct. 29. Tickets will be available at the door; no one will be turned away for this performance.

This is the choir's big fund raiser for the year with proceeds going to the Chancel Choir's activity fund for youth scholarships, community outreach and programming.

Ticket money will be due this Thursday to show marketing director Chris Kennedy. The Chancel Choir will rehearse its big number this Thursday night. The choir will participate in the show's finale.

Photos from Sunday night's run through accompany this newsletter. Acts not shown in the photos were omitted to preserve surprise value, for viewer discretion, or to encourage you to see for yourself (seeing is believing.)

No Chancel Choir In The Loft On Sunday
This Sunday, Oct. 23, is Youth Sunday. That means the Chancel Choir gets the day off. But attend church anyway to support our youth.

Fall Follies Ticket Deadline Is Next Thursday, Oct. 27
We're sure your pockets are weighted down with the money you've collected selling Fall Follies tickets. You'll be able to lighten your load next Thursday when money for tickets is due to Follies ticket manager Chris Kennedy. By the way, the Follies is going to be a very memorable show. The acts rehearsed together last Sunday evening and we'll run the show again from top to bottom this Sunday evening. A dress rehearsal is planned on Friday. You will be surprised at what talents some of your fellow choir members will display.

Great Britain Concert and Tour Recordings
Work has finally begun to finish the Great Britain concert and tour CDs. The final product will be a two-CD set with the concert in our Sanctuary on one and the other featuring the best performance of each selection at one of the various locations in Great Britain. The set will cost $15. The list of who ordered the recording is shown at the end of this email message. If you did not order one of these recordings and would like one or more, please reply to this email.

Email Announcement Guidelines
>From time to time we get requests to send out email messages to the choir soliciting contributions, donations and purchases. We also get requests to announce various programs, concerts and events. As you can image with many choir members and their families active in charities, social service organizations, schools, direct sales, and freelance and individual professional businesses, the possibilities for these messages are significant. A couple of years ago, the Chancel Choir officers arrived at an informal policy to focus the choir email updates on the choir and its activities while supporting our church. We wanted people to welcome the email messages from the choir and not feel they were being spammed with unrelated information every time they received one. As a result, we only promote those charitable events that are sponsored by our church and turn down advertising and promotional requests from both choir members and outside groups. We do list musical and cultural events in which choir members participate and sometimes list cultural events in the area that Kevin believes choir members would benefit from attending. Our intent is to focus our communications on keeping the choir informed, expanding our talents and abilities in the music ministry, furthering the choir's community outreach activities, and assisting the church in reaching the choir with church related information.

Keeping Your Choir Family Posted
To keep the Chancel Choir family informed and maintain our sense of community, we provide information by email and weekly rehearsal guides about deaths, medical emergencies, and family crisis. Situations involving choir members and their immediate family, defined as parents and children, are provided to the choir immediately by email as soon as information becomes available. Ongoing situations involving choir members and their immediate families will be updated as immediately as they unfold. Situations involving "immediate extended" family members, defined as adult children, grandchildren, and siblings, are provided in the next scheduled email update or as appropriate for the situation. Look for situations involving "extended" family members, defined as adult siblings, cousins, in-laws, rich uncles, etc., in the weekly rehearsal guide distributed at each rehearsal. These informal guidelines are followed to inform the choir while keeping our email updates both welcomed and limited. Our best flexibility and judgment will be used in each situation. We also defer to the wishes of the family in determining how much or how little is communicated to the choir, but our intent is to keep the choir informed about its members and provide support and prayers to its family members. Choir members should provide complete information about Cares and Concerns as quickly as you learn them to Gary Ford either by email at garyford@fordcom.net or by phone to 636-227-5749.

Chancel Choir Update 10/10: Annual Fall Choir Retreat
Chancel Choir 2005 Fall Retreat Sets Record

The annual Chancel Choir fall retreat moved back to Mercy Center in Frontenac this weekend and saw a record number singers participate. More that 114 Chancel Choir members were registered for the retreat this year with 12 spending the night at the center. This a second visit to Mercy Center for the choir. The annual retreat was held there four years ago with about 80 attending. That year about 40 stayed over night. The choir will return to Mercy Center next year in 2006 and will explore other options for the 2007 retreat and beyond.

Revised Retreat Format Brings More Singing and Less Play
While the Chancel Choir members love to spend time with their fellow singers, recent surveys indicated they don't really like to play group games. So, this year those elements were eliminated from the retreat agenda. As a way to break up the morning and afternoon rehearsal sessions, Kevin did have the choir form into groups along the wall of the chapel. During the first break he asked choir members to line up by birth date so people could see when their fellow singers were born. It appeared that July and August were the most popular months for birthdays among choir members. The afternoon break found Kevin asking for singers to divide up by the number of their siblings. This results showed there are 12 only-children in the choir and the record for brothers and sister goes to Baritone Jim Web with 10.
On Friday evening, the retreat was opened with a skit prepared by Vice President and Tenor Chris Kennedy. He was "interviewed" by President and Soprano Mary Dean and answered her questions by singing phrases from popular church hymns. The short recital set the tone for the retreat this year -- happy, mellow, low-key and relaxed.

Retreat Overnights View Two Movies and Overeat
The 12 choir members staying overnight at Mercy Center were joined by one other non-staying member and watched two movies in the downstairs recreation room. Your reporter was too tired to catch the names of the shows, but remembers one was about the Boston Red Sox and had Drew Barrymore in it and the other was about Christmas. (He was acused of sleeping through the second movie.) The overnight party broke up after the second movie at 1 a.m. Kevin says next year he plans on including some additional programing during the late night shift that will attract more overnight guests.

Saturday Morning Begins With Visit From John Rutter
Those of you who missed the retreat probably wonder how we kept the visit by composer John Rutter a secret. Expecially since we are planning to perform a special concert this fall honoring his 60th birthday. Truth is, he visited us by way of video tape.

Kevin showed a recent story about Rutter broadcast on the CBS newsmagazine show 60 Minutes. The piece delved into Rutter's composing style, why he writes church music, how he composes, and his family, including the tragic death of his son a few years ago. We leared from the show that the Pipe Carol was Rutter's first commercial composition, published when he was just 19 years old. After the video viewing, the choir went upstairs and sang Rutter's Pipe Carol.

Chancel Choir Update 10/7: News
Retreat To Mercy Center for a Weekend of Fun and Singing
For the 114 Chancel Choir members signed up for the annual fall choir retreat (a record this year) -- today is the day. The singing and fun begins at 7 p.m. this evening at Mercy Center in Town and Country. Mercy Center is located on Geyer Road about 1 mile south of Clayton Road on the right (west) side. Look for the sign at the end of the long, winding drive waybe . Parking this year will tight due to construction. Arrival and check-in begins at 6 p.m. And don't forget your snacks -- our retreats are fueled by junk food, salty snacks and lots of beverages. The Saturday session begins with gathering at 9 a.m. and singing at 9:30 a.m. Some of the veteran choir members have found that the fall Chancel Choir retreat can be a life changing experience -- and some of us have undergone that life change every year since retreats were started 12 years ago. See you tonight.

Chancel Choir In Loft On Sunday
No, we don't get the Sunday off after the retreat. We'll be in the loft, bright and fresh for the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Anthems: Jubilate & Benedictus, Walk Together Children and Legacy of Faith. Call time is 10 a.m. in the music room.

No Photo Op Next Thursday
Due to many conflicts keeping numerous choir members from attending rehearsal next week, the group photo of the Chancel Choir will not be taken. We'll schedule a photo session before a future concert.

Chancel Choir Will Be Included in Christmas CD
The Chancel Choir will be one of the St. Louis choral groups included on a CD of Christmas music to be produced and sold for charity this year by KEZK-FM. Our performance of Christmas Gloria by Lloyd Larson, recorded during our Christmas concert in 2004, will be included on the CD that will be sold at local grocery stores to benefit Outreach St. Louis. In exchange for our participation, KEZK will promote our Christmas concert this year. We'll let you know when the CD is available.

Fall Follies Ticket Sales Begin
If you didn't pick up your allotment of Fall Follies tickets on Thursday night, they will be available both at the Retreat and on Sunday morning. Tenor Chris Kennedy is in charge of ticket sales this year. Each choir member is being asked to sell six tickets to the concert (choir couples 10 tickets). Deadline for turning in money for tickets is October 27. A grace day for those who absolutely can't sell all of their tickets is Oct. 20. But this is the Chancel Choir's only fund raiser of the year and we hope that all choir members will sell their allotment of tickets.

Chancel Choir Update 10/5: News You Can Use
Fall Follies Production Is Proceeding
Yes, your talented friends are rehearsing day and night to get ready for the Fall Follies on Oct. 29. As they continue to prepare, we need your help as well. First, we need help producing the show. There are signup sheets at the back of the choir room for ushers, back stage help, ticket managers and reception helpers. We can still use help in all of these areas. We need more ushers and ticket takers. So far, no one has signed up to help with the reception following the show. Then there's the tickets. They will be distributed to all choir members this week. Chancel Choir Vice President Chris Kennedy is in charge of Fall Follies ticket distribution and sales. With only three weeks to show time, we'll need you to get the tickets sold as soon as possible. Remember, this is the only Chancel Choir fund raiser for the year and will finance our scholarship, our community outreach programs and the operating expenses we have during the year.

Fellowship Friends Are Needed For New Members
What a great crop of new recruits we have this fall. To help welcome them and make them feel at ease in a choir with 164 members, we assign Fellowship Friends to each new member. Asst. Treasurer Tim Zink is in charge of new member hospitality this year and he needs choir members to volunteer to be Fellowship Friends for our new members. If you would like to help out, contact Tim at timnlor@charter.net or call him at 636-230-9017.

Retreat, Retreat, Retreat
This is going to be an all-time, record setting Chancel Choir Fall Retreat. With more than 114 singers signed up to participate in the singing and fun, this weekend will be a perfect opportunity to make new friends, welcome our new members, learn all kinds of new music and just have a great time. Final retreat details will be announced at rehearsal tomorrow night.

Chancel Choir Update 10/2: Cares and Concerns
Cares and Concerns
Bass Darwin Novak
was hospitalized Thursday night after complaining of chest pains. An angiogram and other tests on Friday revealed his symptoms were not caused by his heart and he reports he is feeling much better now.

Soprano Beth Neuhalfen is enjoying her first grandchild born 9/30 at St. John's Mercy Medical Center to daughter Erin Schaefer and her husband, Andrew. Avery Elizabeth was five weeks early, but doing well after weighing in at 5 lbs., 3 oz. and measuring 18 inches long.

Calling All Lederhosen
Alto Maida McCormack
is at it again. After securing four accordions with an email update request to the Chancel Choir membership, she is now looking for lederhosen. Again, for her act in the Fall Follies. She needs several pair, but will settle for one authentic pair. If you have such a garment, let Maida know at joemaida@swbell.net
